While at Broadcast Production Group, managed joint development projects with CKS | Partners and eventually recruited by CKS to manage web development, interactive CD-ROM, and digital asset management development projects for client such as Sony Pictures Entertainment, the National Bank of Australia (NAB), Hewlett Packard and Intel.

Wrote and produced original, qualitative market on the burgeoning online advertising market and interactive services markets and wrote and provided custom research and strategic consultative services for clients such as Procter & Gamble, BBDO, General Motors, PepsiCo, CBS, and others. Served as President and Chief Executive Officer of atmosphere.BBDO (now Proximity/BBDO), the digital marketing services unit of BBDO North America. Led a 50-person, $7MM business unit P&L and served on the North America Board of Directors of BBDO. Led the re-integration of atmosphere.BBDO into the mainline agency and revived BBDO’s interactive services division back to profitability post-Internet 1.0 crash. Managed core relationships relationship with clients including General Electric (corporate), Visa, Cingular (now AT&T), Emirates, Wrigley, and others. Oversaw the transition of atmosphere.BBDO's online media services unit into OMD, a media services agency within Omnicom. Tripled revenues and doubled atmosphere.bbdo's profits from 2001-2004.

Served as Head of Digital Strategy and helped launch the New York office of AKQA (now a division of WPP). Worked closely with Lars Bastholm, the Chief Creative Officer and Head of the New York office to win new business and establish a strong foothold for AKQA in New York City. Served on pitch team, won new assignments, and provided digital media and strategy consultation from, and to, Coca-Cola and ESPN (in collaboration with Weiden + Kennedy and managed ongoing client relationships.

Served as Group Event Chairman, Head of Programming and Advisory Board Chair for ad:tech North America and Asia Pacific. At its peak, ad:tech was the largest global conference and exposition series focused on the digital media and marketing technology. Served as the Programming and Event Chairman and Master of Ceremonies for ad:tech's U.S. events in San Francisco, Chicago, and New York, conceptualized and launched ad:tech Miami (LatAm focus) and later served on the global launch teams as the Founding Programming and Event Chairman and Master of Ceremonies for new ad:tech conferences and expositions in Sydney, Singapore, and Shanghai. Also served as Chairman of the ad:tech North America Board of Advisors which includes board members from Google, Unilever, Facebook, P&G, The Washington Post, The New York Times, WPP, AKQA, Omnicom, Publicis, and other leading agencies and advertising technology vendors and service providers and as Founding Advisory Board Chair for the aforementioned events in Sydney, Shanghai and Singapore. Cumulatively, served as Event and Programming Chairman and Master of Ceremonies for twenty-five (25) ad:tech conferences and exhibitions across three continents programming over 1,500 conference sessions and selecting and placing over 3,500 executive-level speakers across these events. ad:tech's global revenues tripled from 2005-2010.

Started M2 Events, LLC in the Summer of 2010 and launched the APPNATION conference in September of 2010. APPNATION was the first global conference + exhibition to focus exclusively on the app economy and ran until 2016 and included 20+ conferences and exhibitions in New York, San Francisco/Silicon Valley, Atlanta, Dubai, Las Vegas (CES), Los Angeles and Barcelona (Mobile World Congress).
In 2013, conceptualized, launched and produced the Chief Digital Officer Global Forum (CDX) summit series focusing on digital business transformation and corporate and open innovation with flagship events held annually in New York and Silicon Valley with satellite events held in Las Vegas (CES), Singapore, and Atlanta. Conceptualized, launched, and produced additional CDX events including CDX SONIC which focused on how voice and audio are transforming marketing, media, and the customer experience and the CDX Academy Blockchain Summit produced in partnership with Columbia Business School and recently added and managed 40+ virtual CDX interviews, roundtables, and multi-day conferences.
Conceptualized, designed and defined the editorial positioning and serve as the Founding Editor-in-Chief, and principal writer of dxdaily.com - an editorial destination and companion weekly newsletter curating best-in-class content about digital business transformation and innovation.
Collectively, conceptualized and managed over 100 in-person, virtual and hybrid conferences across the APPNATION & CDX event portfolio, managed all corporate and event operations and directly sold over $6MM in sponsorships. In early 2019, CDX became a part of Techonomy Media.
